About ElizabethWhilst studying at Oxford Brookes University, I discovered I wanted to be an actress. So after graduating with an honours degree in Human Biology, I moved to London to study musical theatre.
I am now a fully qualified Cognitive Hypnotherapist and I studied at the internationally acclaimed Quest Institute with the founder of Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy, Trevor Silvester. I hold the Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD - the first nationally accredited hypnotherapy qualification), the Master Practitioner Certification, a Diploma in Cognitive Hypnotherapy and I am a Certified NLP Practitioner.
I am a member of The Complementary and Natural Health Care Council (CNHC), providing a professional service that complies with their Code of Conduct, Ethics and Performance policy, Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Policy and their Data Protection Policy. The CNCH register is accredited by the Professional Standards Authority and being registered with them demonstrates I have met UK wide standards and the standards of practice set by the government. I am also a member of the QCHPA (Quest Cognitive Hypnotherapy Practitioners Association).
I run a friendly and relaxed practice, offering one-to-one Cognitive Hypnotherapy and coaching sessions from The Self Centre in Bury St Edmunds, Dance East in Ipswich and The Complementary Medicine Centre in Eye (near Diss).
One of the things that attracted me to Cognitive Hypnotherapy was how different it was to other types of therapy. I like how it draws from a variety of ideas and approaches, not just hypnotherapy. You can read more about me and how I discovered Cognitive Hypnotherapy by reading my Welcome to my Blog page.
One more thing I have found since finding Cognitive Hypnotherapy is how much I enjoy writing. I write a monthly blog and I contribute to the online magazine Perception. You can receive my monthly blog containing useful tips and information by filling in the yellow box opposite.
Needed help and Elizabeth was there, extremely sensitive and I never once felt judged. Highly recommend her.
